Crescit Hedge rose +1.24 percent in August and stands at 6.74 percent for the year. <\/p>

So far this year, the fund is ahead of the Nordic hedge fund index.<\/p>\n

The market rose broadly and calmly in August. This is the environment where an option-based structure works with the least friction, as the protection costs less to carry when the swings are small.<\/p>\n

The fund's risk has been evenly distributed between Sweden, Europe and the US. The difference in outcomes between the markets came about when exposure could be increased: in Sweden and parts of Europe, the indices fell back towards their starting point after an initial rise, and there it was possible to add risk on the way down.<\/p>\n

Equity exposure accounted for approximately three-quarters of the month's positive contribution and the fixed income component for the remainder.<\/p>\n\n
